DGF Digital Inc. ("we," "our," or "us") operates the 123FYI mobile application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains our commitment to your privacy: We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal information or link data. Everything you save in 123FYI stays on your device, completely private and under your control.

What We Collect

123FYI does not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal information or link data. Your links, folders, tags, and all other data remain exclusively on your device.

What This Means for You

  • Your Links: All URLs, titles, descriptions, and metadata stay on your device only
  • Your Organization: Folders, tags, and custom organization never leave your device
  • Your Settings: All app preferences are stored locally on your device
  • No Analytics: We don't track how you use the app
  • No Servers: We don't have servers storing your data because we don't collect it

Support Communications Only

The only time we receive any information from you is if you voluntarily contact us for support. In those cases, we only see what you choose to share in your message (such as your email address and any details you provide about your issue).

How We Use Your Information

We don't use your information because we don't collect it.

123FYI is a local-first application. Everything happens on your device:

  • Service Provision: The app runs entirely on your device using local storage
  • Metadata Enhancement: When you save a link, your device directly requests preview information from the source website (we never see this)
  • Customer Support: We only see information you voluntarily provide when contacting us for help

Note: There is no analytics, no tracking, no data synchronization through our servers. Your data never leaves your device unless you export it yourself.

Data Storage and Security

Local-Only Storage

100% of your data is stored locally on your device using Core Data, Apple's secure local database framework. Your links, folders, tags, and all organization remain exclusively on your device under your control.

No Cloud Storage

We do not sync your data to any cloud service or external servers. There is no backend database collecting your information. Your data stays on your device, period.

Note: CloudKit sync was mentioned as a potential future feature but is not currently available in our MVP.

Security Measures

  • 100% local storage - your data never leaves your device
  • Local device encryption using iOS security features
  • No servers, no databases, no data collection
  • We can't access your data even if we wanted to

Third-Party Services

Metadata Extraction

When you save a link, 123FYI requests metadata (title, description, thumbnail) directly from the source website. These requests are made directly from your device to the website and do not pass through our servers. We never see these requests or the data returned.

Platform APIs

For certain platforms (like YouTube, Pinterest, etc.), your device may use official APIs to enhance your experience. Any data accessed through these APIs is requested directly by your device and is only used to provide the preview functionality. We do not collect or store this information.

No Analytics or Tracking

We do not use any analytics or tracking services. We don't know how you use the app, which features you use most, or any other usage patterns. Your activity in 123FYI is completely private.

Your Privacy Controls

Complete Control

Since all your data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control:

  • Your Device, Your Data: Everything is on your device - we can't access it
  • Metadata Fetching: You can disable automatic metadata fetching in settings if you prefer
  • Export Anytime: Export all your data in standard formats whenever you want
  • Delete Anytime: Delete individual items or clear all data - it's entirely up to you

No Account to Delete

Since 123FYI doesn't require an account and doesn't collect your data, there's nothing for us to delete. Simply uninstall the app if you no longer want to use it.

Children's Privacy

123FYI is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to remove such information.

International Data Transfers

Your data never leaves your device, so there are no international data transfers to worry about. All your links, folders, and organization remain exclusively on your device, regardless of where you are in the world.

The only potential international communication is when your device directly requests metadata from websites you save, but these requests go directly from your device to those websites - we're not involved.

Data Retention

  • Local Data: Stored on your device until you delete it - we never see it
  • No Server Data: We don't have any servers storing your information
  • No Analytics: We don't collect or retain any usage data
  • Support Communications: If you contact us for support, we retain your email for up to 3 years for quality assurance purposes only

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

  • Access: Request access to your personal data
  • Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data
  • Portability: Request export of your data in a machine-readable format
  • Objection: Object to processing of your data for certain purposes
